Association Centre Berry Animation et Découvertes

The association " Center Berry Animation and Discoveries " proposes a raising awareness to the local heritage by means of conducted tour of sites and of open days of agricultural or home-made exploitations.

It also tries to protect our remarkable buildings architecturally as the chapel Our Lady du Souchet of the municipality of Bussière St Georges. Indeed, this one has a wooden octagonal bell tower, what is relatively rare in our regions. According to the french national architect, the stake except water of this building must be immediately made. However, the municipality has no financial means to begin these works and count on the association to find capital necessary for these works. And so the " Center Berry Animation and Discoveries " organize every summer a tombola during the feast of Clugnat, and an official reception of accordion in the All Saints' Day.

This association receives the support of numerous personalities: beauty queen Limousin 2006, Gérard Klein, her royal princesses Caroline of Hanover and Mathilde of Brabant. But also local media (France Bleu the Creuse, Radio Montluçon Bourbonnais) and national or the other regions (Radio Happiness, TV8 Mont Blanc, France 3). This media weight is stressed by our membership to big networks (FNASSEM, PMAF) and in our twinning with a similar association of the Burkina Faso ( the CANO).

To save our heritage, such is so the slogan of the association " Center Berry Animation and Discoveries ". But this rescue can pass effectively only if a large number of persons gathers behind this association. To join this center, it is to contribute to protect the history and the memory of our future generations. It is to benefit of a tax reduction thanks to your gifts and contributions. It is to make recognize your skills within a big team and participate in a beautiful human adventure.
